Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and detect advanced threats in real-time during night shift hours
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and malware outbreaks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud infrastructure and on-premise networks
- Generate comprehensive threat intelligence reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with global security teams during cross-continental incident management
- Stay current with emerging threats through continuous threat hunting activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with night shift or 24/7 operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong understanding of NIST framework and compliance standards
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
