Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security anomalies and potential breaches
- Investigate and respond to security incidents using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on client networks
- Document incident reports and security protocols using SOAR tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on threat intelligence and mitigation strategies
- Conduct forensic analysis of security events and digital evidence
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC or cybersecurity operations roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with threat hunting and incident response procedures
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with rotational weekends
