Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across 24/7 SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and document security incidents using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Execute vulnerability scans and patch management for critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with blue/red teams during active threat response scenarios
- Generate executive-level incident reports and forensic analysis summaries
- Conduct proactive threat hunting using deception technology
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years SOC/NOC experience with night shift preference
- Active CISSP, Security+, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in network forensics (Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Advanced knowledge of Windows/Linux system hardening
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Proven incident response handling (IR-504 or equivalent)
- Ability to work autonomously in high-pressure situations
