Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze logs and telemetry data to identify anomalous activities
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms and network security tools (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
