As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the resilience of our security posture.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools to identify potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-malware solutions.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, coordinating with IT teams for resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Develop and update incident response plans and security policies.
- Perform user access reviews and privilege management audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in security tools like Splunk, Wireshark, or FireEye.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings.
