Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network architecture.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other security controls.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Provide security awareness training to employees to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
