Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weak points.
- Manage and configure firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security procedures and incident reports.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch systems and mitigate risks proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Snort, Check Point).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
