As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, neutralizing threats, and ensuring our infrastructure remains impenetrable. Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events within the SOC environment using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, FireEye).
- Conduct thorough log analysis and threat hunting to detect suspicious activity.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including containment and eradication.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage network security controls, including firewalls and endpoint protection.
- Develop and update incident response plans and security policies to align with industry standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Valid CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, SOC operations, or incident response.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Clear background check and ability to obtain required security clearances.
