Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts via SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and security audits.
- Develop and execute incident response strategies to mitigate threats.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure configurations for cloud environments.
- Produce detailed reports on security posture and incident analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Network Engineering.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred.
- Deep understanding of threat hunting, malware analysis, and incident response.
- Proficiency in Python or scripting languages for automation.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and networking protocols.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Denver, CO.
