Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents 24/7 using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Investigate security breaches and lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security best practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Nessus, Wireshark, Snort).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings to stakeholders.
