Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events across the network.
- Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious activities and manage the full incident response lifecycle.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Enforce enterprise security policies and conduct security awareness training.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed forensic logs.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure systems.
- Stay updated on the latest threat landscapes and cybersecurity trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC, Incident Response, or Security Analyst role.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure during security events.
