Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalous behavior
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis of security breaches
- Develop and implement threat intelligence-driven mitigation strategies
- Coordinate incident response activities across cross-functional teams
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC environments
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting
- Experience with incident response (NIST SP 800-61) and forensics
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
