Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to mitigate cyber threats effectively.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security patches and configure firewalls.
- Perform security audits and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
