Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance measures
- Analyze security alerts, investigate breaches, and implement remediation strategies
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security architectures
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., AlienVault, CrowdStrike)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
