Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches and anomalies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with scripting (Python or Bash) for automation tasks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote-first environment.
