As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Apex, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a tangible impact on global data security.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze: Conduct real-time monitoring of network traffic and systems to detect potential security breaches and anomalies using advanced SIEM tools.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation, containment, and eradication of security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Risk Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure before malicious actors do.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA by managing audits and documentation.
- Threat Intelligence: Analyze global threat intelligence feeds to stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and adapt security protocols accordingly.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications: Must hold at least one of the following: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Tools: Strong knowledge of log analysis tools (Splunk, ELK Stack) and scripting languages (Python or Bash) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a dynamic 24/7 threat landscape.
