Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and malware attacks
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, runbooks)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement vulnerability patches and hardening
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Create executive-level security incident reports with actionable insights
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or similar role
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and system architectures
- Ability to work independently during flexible hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
