Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Cisco/Juniper network infrastructures including LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud integrations
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and resolve critical outages within SLA thresholds
- Lead network security initiatives including firewall configuration, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessments
- Document network architectures using Visio and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 standards
- Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital transformation projects
- Execute network upgrades including Cisco IOS/Junos migrations and 10G/40G backbone expansions
Qualifications
- CCNP/CCIE or JNCIP/JNCIE certification required with 5+ years enterprise networking experience
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and advanced routing protocols
- Proficient in Palo Alto firewalls, Fortinet security solutions, and Cisco ASA
- Hands-on experience with VMware NSX and SD-WAN implementations
- Strong Python/Ansible automation skills for network orchestration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Ability to lift 40lbs for equipment maintenance and work flexible on-call schedules
