Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with industry standards (NIST, ISO).
- Investigate security breaches and develop incident response plans to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure architecture for new software and hardware deployments.
- Conduct regular security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
