Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach investigations when required
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden systems and patch vulnerabilities
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Maintain security documentation and playbooks for incident scenarios
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations background
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network segmentation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
- Excellent written/verbal communication for technical/non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently during flexible off-peak hours
