Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response investigations and forensic analysis
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and refine security policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+ certification
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network protocols
