Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls to protect cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Create detailed incident reports and executive summaries for stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or related IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Cortex)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with Linux/Windows security hardening and log analysis
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling (core hours 10 AM - 3 PM)
