Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents using provided SIEM and EDR tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with company-provided hardware/software
- Analyze security alerts and investigate anomalous activity across enterprise networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and technologies using provided research resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or threat analysis
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, and endpoint security tools
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents
- Experience with security automation tools (Python, PowerShell, or Ansible)
- Deep understanding of network protocols and attack vectors
