Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with documented playbooks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security dashboards and executive-level threat reports
- Collaborate with network teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Stay current on emerging threats and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
- Support compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Proficiency in Python/SQL for threat hunting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedules
