Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using provided professional-grade tools
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate forensic analysis with cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks
- Implement and optimize security controls across cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and CIS frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in threat detection, incident response, and log analysis
- Experience with vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys) and penetration testing
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and OSINT techniques
