Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools and respond to alerts/incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls to protect against cyber threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO frameworks
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed forensic reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend defensive strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or incident response roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network analysis
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network architectures
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
