Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement network security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy cloud-based solutions
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages
- Manage VPN connections and remote access systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent certification (CCNA, CompTIA Network+)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network analyzers and Wireshark
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
