Responsibilities
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations
- Develop/implement security controls and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams on vulnerability remediation
- Generate executive-level security reports and metrics
- Stay current on emerging threats and compliance standards (NIST, ISO)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISA certification preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
