Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk or ArcSight.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other network security appliances.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, and security documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into software development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and network architecture.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
