Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA timeframes
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networks for multi-site operations
- Document network topology, changes, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team to enforce compliance protocols
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper hardware and TCP/IP protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure) concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional on-site visits
