Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other network security devices.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Active US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
