Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond: Analyze security alerts and logs using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and resolution of security breaches and cyber-attacks.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Security Awareness: Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
- Tools: Proficiency with SIEM, Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and endpoint protection.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cryptography.
