Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 threat monitoring and incident response for enterprise networks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Develop and implement security protocols aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Manage SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Stay updated on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or SOC operations
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanning tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) architectures
- Strong understanding of network protocols and attack vectors
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Relevant degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
- Clearable background check for federal compliance
