Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts for potential threats and anomalies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support for internal systems.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.
- Support incident response teams during security breaches and digital investigations.
- Document security configurations, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software deployment and patch management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- EIT (Engineer in Training) or related academic achievements.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001 is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and security clearance process.
