Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment (Splunk/Sentinel).
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, malware infections, and suspicious network traffic.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection.
- Develop and update incident response playbooks and security policies to ensure compliance with HIPAA and GDPR standards.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to implement secure coding practices and secure infrastructure deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and common attack vectors (phishing, ransomware, DDoS).
- Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms and log analysis tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to support 24/7 monitoring operations.
