Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security policies/procedures
- Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST frameworks
- Document security incidents and generate comprehensive reports
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in threat detection and incident response tools
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
