Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response and threat hunting operations
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls for network infrastructure
- Generate comprehensive security incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and IDS/IPS
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
