Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 security monitoring using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and remediate security incidents within SLA
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks for zero-day threats
- Collaborate with blue team on threat intelligence analysis
- Generate executive-level security dashboards
- Train junior staff on SOC protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity (SOC, CISO, or equivalent)
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in NIST 800-53 frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK techniques
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks or CrowdStrike
- TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Proven incident response leadership
- New York residency required
