Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activity using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to ensure network integrity.
- Enforce security policies and access control measures (IAM).
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure software development practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Experience with security tools like Splunk, Snort, or FireEye.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
