Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructures
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Perform forensic analysis of security events and generate detailed reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Proficiency with SIEM tools and security automation platforms
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical security events
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
