Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to security incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate advanced persistent threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Document security incidents, forensic analysis, and remediation procedures
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation for critical security event response
- Lead security awareness training for employees and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
