As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll leverage advanced tools and methodologies to detect, analyze, and mitigate security incidents. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document findings
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC/operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and system architecture
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
