Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for real-time threat detection and analysis
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and generate detailed incident reports
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/Bash
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST 800-53 security controls
- Lead incident response tabletop exercises and update playbooks quarterly
- Manage compliance frameworks including ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC analyst role
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
- Valid US driver's license for occasional client site visits
