Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations center in Santa Ana, CA. In this critical role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and responding to security incidents in real-time.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN infrastructure.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and breaches in strict accordance with incident response protocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, and NIST.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to patch vulnerabilities and implement security controls.
- Create and maintain detailed security documentation and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity, information security analysis, or SOC operations.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security architectures.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and security documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to critical security events.
