Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with detailed documentation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls for network and cloud environments
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance requirements (NIST, GDPR)
- Prepare security incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in security tools: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
