Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/Sentinel).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access management.
- Perform security audits and generate detailed compliance reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Investigate and remediate malware and phishing incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or SOC operations.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including FireEye, Snort, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during critical incidents.
