Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and lead forensic analysis
- Develop threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with network teams on vulnerability patching
- Conduct penetration testing and security assessments
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Stay current on emerging threats and regulatory changes (HIPAA, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC environment
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools and threat detection methodologies
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and systems
- Experience with incident response and forensic tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
