Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts for threat detection
- Lead incident response protocols during security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop/implement security policies and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams on network hardening initiatives
- Generate executive security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Manage security tool integrations and automation workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on security operations experience
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Incident response (NIST SP 800-61) experience
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, NIST, GDPR)
- Strong analytical skills and threat hunting methodology
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
