Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and malware incidents
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for threat hunting
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST and CIS security controls
- Generate executive-level security risk assessments and remediation reports
- Lead phishing simulation campaigns and security awareness training
- Manage vulnerability management lifecycle using Qualys or Nessus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in threat intelligence platforms (MISP, Recorded Future)
- Hands-on experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Windows/Linux systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment
