Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate potential threats
- Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks, policies, and audit trails
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support for critical security incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity analysis or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS), and OSINT techniques
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and endpoint protection platforms
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with rapid decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration
